Came here based on reviews and the fact that I always have driven past her. I ordered the hot chocolate and it was small but delicious! I order the chocolate chip pancakes and they were so gooey with chocolate and yummy. It tasted better with butter. My boyfriend got French toast and it was amazing. It was thick and tasted like a warm apple pie! The omelet was okay it needed a little something so we put salt to add some flavor and it was good. The toast was crunchy and buttery. The bacon was crispy and made the way I like it. The muffin was toasted and was different but in a good way! It was full of flavor. We had plenty of leftovers. We also order a chicken parm to go and it looks amazing....
I had a fantastic dining experience with quick service. I ordered the Weight Watchers wrap, which came with fruit, and it was absolutely delicious. We also shared gluten-free pancakes, and my friend chose the Dutch omelet. Our server, Marian, was incredibly sweet; she had festive Halloween-themed nails and was very attentive throughout our meal. We were seated right away, and our food was served promptly. The atmosphere was warm and family-oriented, making us feel right at home. While we were paying, they had delightful bread pudding bites available at the counter. This was my wife and I's first time to The Red Hut Diner and I have to tell you we were very pleased. Stopped in for Sunday breakfast. I had my usual 2 Eggs over easy Hash Browns, Rye Toast, Bacon and Coffee. I was very happy. Everything was cooked just the way I liked it and the coffee was good. My wife got the Irish omelet with Hash Browns. An omelet with corn beef. She said It was cooked perfect and it was good. For us, the portions were large and the prices were reasonable. It was a nice Sunday Treat. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The diner has a nice interior is well laid out and is very clean. Sorry I didn't take more pictures. I was tired.
Nice place especially on a hot day! Only complaint was the waitress actually double checked how we ordered our Patty melt (well done) but then brought the Patty melt out bloody. Gross! Wait staff need to pay better attention to details like this. I didn't look at it thankfully. My friend did. If I had looked, I would have walked out with ZERO appetite. This is why it is important to pay attention. Luckily I didn't look, waitress brought well done Patty melt back out and the meal was actually very good. The Patty melt, fries, and onion rings were seasoned very well. I might be back, butwon't order any type of burger again.

I went there on Friday to start kind of a bland diet prior to a medical procedure and only got two eggs over easy. I did not get home fries but I did get Rite toast when I got the bill it said $7.50 so I went upfront to pay the bill and I asked the gentleman is this right $7.50 for two eggs he said yes that’s right I said you have to be kidding me I said I didn’t even get any home Fries I said to $7.50 is ridiculous for two eggs. Then I asked if I can get a military discount being a veteran and he said no, that’s the price so basically, I’m never going to the red hut diner in Rockaway again.
