Thankfully I can give zero stars because that’s what this joke of a pub deserves. Food hugely over priced I think they think they’re in Manchester City centre or the botanist in Alderly Edge. And they are far far far from it. Big pretenders. Manager is throws her weight around , and knows jack about customer service. Too busy pretending to work. I’ve been going for years , never again , not that they need more customers now considering the price of their menu ! They can stay a float with a hand full. If you like over priced, frozen , oven cooked food , that takes 45 minutes with a side of foul faced management then this is your joint. Avoid the king prawns if you do go as they’re barley praw...

We were seated immediately for lunch, and the service was prompt. The menu was explained to us, and our food arrived in no time—all with a friendly smile! Vegetarian options are available, but we opted for different meals. Parking can be a bit tricky, so it's best to arrive early. Although we didn't require wheelchair access, the entrance looked to be accessible if needed. As for the price, it was around £30–40 per person. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5!

So this place is just down the road from me and we went on a Sunday and it was packed. We sat outside, and the lady who served us put the outdoor heater on for us. Wasn't too cold, but the heater made it comfortable. Service was 5 star. The Sunday lunch came in good time, and it was delicious. The beef was tender and cooked perfectly. Everything was spot on. Well, worth a visit if you're in the area or passing by, but I'd book ahead as it gets really busy.

We drove to the Red Lion for a Sunday roast, encouraged by the reviews. We were not disappointed, the food was great. We had lamb and vegetarian roast. They both came with cauliflower cheese. The Yorkshire puddings were perfectly balanced between soft in the inside and crispy on the outside. The portions were big so unfortunately we didn’t have space to try desserts. We were served by Amelia who was very friendly. Thank you for this nice Sunday experience. Réservez une table maintenant

We were a table of 10 wich included a 3 year old and a baby. Great food, fabulous service. Everyone was very friendly, especially our waitress Elli I think her name was. She went above and beyond! The food was lovely everyone enjoyed what they had, the roasts were amazing and the scotch egg starter was delicious. Thank we shall be returning.

The room was wonderful! The bed was enormous, and my short legs hung off the edge because it was so high! The only drawback was the hairdryer—it never got warm, even on the highest setting! With my curls, I definitely need some heat. This was the first time I traveled without bringing my own hairdryer!

My husband and I absolutely love this pub! We eat here regularly and just had the fish and chips with mushy peas, which were absolutely amazing. The staff is all very friendly, and the service is really fast. Highly recommended! - Maria Anthony

The restaurant offers ample outdoor seating and has a parking lot available. Although I only stopped by for a drink, I found the staff to be very friendly. The beer was well-maintained, and the decor was lovely. Réservez une table maintenant

Went here for Christmas lunch. I had Pate to start and the Christmas Burger for main. It was spot on and the staff were very welcoming. Pub has a lovely feel to it and I would certainly return. Many thanks guys

Excellent! No complaints. Friendly staff, great selection of beers and the food is also good. Always a pleasure coming here... especially when it's sunny drinking in the beer garden!
