Great cake and bake shop! This is a popular chain from the Philippines and they offer a variety of cakes, pastries, breads and other treats. I am a loyal customer of Red Ribbon in Bergenfield and take pride in the Filipino food they offer. However, this time, I was extremely frustrated. I mistakenly placed my order on their website, where there's an option for both pickup and delivery. I immediately called five times, with about ten minutes between each call, but no one answered. A man eventually called me at 4:30 to ask when I would pick up my order. I explained what had happened, and he informed me that they were short-staffed, with only one person in the kitchen and one at the counter. The absence of proper cooling made the shopping experience intolerable, especially during the hot summer months. The stifling heat, potential health risks, compromised product quality, and lack of professionalism exhibited by the management were major drawbacks. The value of comfort and well-being of the employees are comprised immensely. Electric fans were not even set up to alleviate the heat. I was woozy due to my BP during my visit. I hope management will correct this issue immediately.
Entered the empty store around 11:00 am. Bought a couple bags of their mamon and ensaymada. Person (male server) behind the counter was so curt and lacking in customer service training. Maybe he just didn’t like to be bothered while using his phone. No hello or any greeting. In a very curt voice, he asked “Is that all? You like to bag this for 10cents?” His demeanor was so off-putting that I just didn’t say anything and left. Regretted going to that store because of him.

I purchased two bags of mamon and, unfortunately, when I got home, most of them had mold on them. We considered going back for a refund, but the hours indicated that they were closed. I've noticed that many of the low-star reviews also mention mold. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, especially since it's a health concern!
I bought Halo halo, they don't have Leche plan on there menu it does, 2nd on there display their Black Forest cake have Cherry the cake I bought don't have Cherries and they don't give bag, they want you to buy for all the items you bought.They should give bag with the minimum purchase
I picked up an order from this restaurant and found the place to be very clean. The staff were friendly and made sure to confirm our order.
