I've been coming to Red Robins for years now, and the Monona location has been a little disappointing. I went for my second time today for a friend's birthday. We waited 20 minutes to seat a table of 4 at 5:30. The restaurant looked pretty dead. At onepoint, there were more people waiting in the lobby than there were people. I don't know if they're just constantly shortstaffed, but we had the same issue the first time we went back in Feb. Anyway, we finally get seated and we get put in a cornerbooth without a window. I went for my Birthday to use my free loyalty program Burger offer. It must be dine in with a minimum $4.99 purchase which was easy to reach! As a recent shareholder in this restaurant chain, I seriously question my decision to invest here! My wife and I tried the BBQ ribs, and we were left wondering who came up with such an uninspired dish. It seemed like the goal was to cram as much as possible onto the plate to make it look like good value, with hot and supposedly cold items piled on top of each other, some even falling onto the table! The BBQ sauce was the only thing that saved the mediocre ribs, which clearly need a new butcher and a fresh approach to plating. My advice: stick to the burgers!

Been here a few times, most recently had a pretty poor experience. The place was understaffed as there was a 20 minute wait and the place was about 30% full. The burgers and fries are so-so and while unlimited sides are a thing, expect lengthy wait timesbetween rounds. I came with small children and waited some time for another small tray or two of fries and fruit. The experiencewas underwhelming and wouldn't recommend this place if you're wishing for a burger and fries. Not really worth the money.
1 star because I can't give zero stars for zero service. This was about 3 in the afternoon on a Thursday. Only a couple cars in the lot, not many people inside. We first stood in the lobby for nearly 5 minutes completely alone before being seated, and then sat at the table for at least another 15 minutes (4 full 90s pop songs on the radio). We didn't see anybody, so we left. Nobody noticed. I can't say it was the worst service ever... there was no service.
I?m an Uber driver, and I sometimes do Uber eats, so I often pick up over here. The staff is good, but I do think that they need more recognition for doing a really hard job, and doing it well. Once, in a great while I will eat here, and the food isdecent, though it is standard Red Robin fare. But the people make the place work. You guys are great. Keep doing what you?redoing. ????
He waited for about 15 minutes. Once, our drinks sat out quickly. Hard to choose what to order, many items in the menu. The food came out quickly. Only the problem was that I ordered a second page salad, as it was groundless and the server forgot it until we finished.

Best experience ever! I wish I could remember our servers name she rocked started with an S on 8/18 had hangry kids with us and she got us food so fast and was so accommodating. Thank you Red Robin you are awesome!
Surprisingly good food at my last visit at this point. They were short. My waitress really fought, but was pretty. Waited about 30 minutes to get a place. Overall good food experience.
