Holding space for grace and understanding, considering EVERYONE seems to be short staffed, remembering my own experience as a waitress, and it being a Friday evening... We were not overly impressed with our experience. Waiting time didn 't seem unreasonable (50min. on a Friday evening at 7:30ish pm), but there had been people waiting for over an hour, lots of empty tables, and once a different staff member came to the door, everyone got seated within 20min. This leads me to believe there was not good communication going on behind the scenes. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and flustered, which led to inattentiveness. We had to ask for napkins, refills, and he gave us our check very soon after...
Very good food and service! Once we got there, Trey set us right away. Laney was the waitress. She bought our drinks and took our order in no time. The food was wonderful! Extrakudos to Laney for us everything we needed with a smile. The courtesy and professionalism shown in this place was second to none. Trey even cooked my food! Better work to cook the burger than I could ever do! We will definitely return to this place due to the performance of both of these people in this place. I love this place absolutely. Delicious food with excellent customer service. We stayed this last Wednesday at 3 or 3:30, our server was absolutely wonderful. Since you didn't have the ingredients for my favorite dipping sauce, she brought me two out that she thought it was similar, it was absolutely perfect. She was the only server/host work and she (if I knew her name to give her the right thing as she deserves recognition) covered all tables and often checked for everyone. Hopefully we'll have them again. My husband's shake was perfect. The chefs had an excellent job, our food was perfect. Thank you for an excellent experience.
It wasn 't a great night at Red Robin. We got there and we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. No problem. After almost an hour had passed, the lobby was getting more and more packed and others waiting were leaving, we asked how much longer the wait would be. The manager overheard and took us to a table. Imagine my surprise as we walked by empty table after empty table... picture attached. A packed lobby of waiting people and all but 3 tables in our area were EMPTY. I asked the waiter if there was a staffing issue, and he said I have no idea what 's going on up there. Nor do we, buddy. Nor do we.
Phenomenal Burger and Pommes. All right, I ordered a second. Christine was the only server when we arrived and she leaned towards several tables. She was still extremely attentive and efficient. The service industry is very difficult. It was not a shock that they were short staff, but it was great to see that she was still professional, relaxed and efficient despite the unfortunate circumstances on a Saturday night. Kudos to Christine and the kitchen staff for the evening a fantastic culinary experience from top to bottom. We will definitely be back.
I got the Tavern Burger for lunch and it was pretty good. The burger had some taste similarities to a Big Mac, which was a nice surprise. I haven't eaten here very often at all but I might have to add them to my regular lunch rotation based on a decent price and location. My only complaint is one of their schticks is the bottomless fries when dining in, but my to-go order had a somewhat minimal amount of fries. I feel like they should maybe overload the fries (a la Five Guys) for the takeout orders.
Went on February 26 arriving at 510pm. Wait time was 40 minutes. Noticed many open tables and realized they must be short on staff. It was 45 minutes before a table was ready. We were right in the short staff situation. However the staff they did have were on their toes!!! Attentive, efficient, polite. Our waiter not only took orders he bussed tables and swept the floor. Kudos ladies and gentlemen: You are great !!!! Hope others noticed you all tonight. Thank you for another great meal and service.
Great experience overall all. Had a little bit of a wait, but that is expected with COVID and restaurants being short staffed. Just have to be patient and understanding Food came out quickly, food was hot and fresh. Never had an empty glass. Our server’s name was Cole and he did a phenomenal job. Nobody in my group had one complaint and being able to pay at the table was super convenient.
Food is very good, standard American style you get bottomless thick cut french fries. Parking is a little tight. They were short staffed so had to wait 20 minutes, even though there were plenty of seats, but I appreciated their honesty about the issue the staff were pleasant attentive.
