Yesterday we had the worse experience a customer could ever have in a restaurant.This place used to be one of our favorite places to go for chicken, but that just changed for ever yesterday. It was raining so my family and I decided to eat there instead of taking our food home. The lady in the front was not very helpful, so it took a long time for us to get out order right (that is what I thought), one of the things we ordered was "ONE shrimp pattie". We received 3 patties and thought that the portion was just 3 parties, so we didn't say anything but noticed that they were cold as ice, so asked the "kind" waitress to warm them up for us, she took them and brought them back with a bad attitud...
Was good until about a year ago. Used to go to this place 2-3 times per week. They were always spot on, portions were generous and service was great.That ended summer 2015 and it's been getting progressively worse. Portions are probably 40-50% less, especially the meats. Chicken is rubbery and quality has gone down hill. They nickle and dime you for everything and sauce is at the price of gold. Small little container for $1.25 when it was free? No thanksWe get it ,price of meat has risen but so have the prices here so that's no excuse. Prices have gone up 20-25% on meat items so I don't get their excuse of "meat prices rose". Portions decreased substantially AND they raised prices. Hmm.....N...
I've been coming here for a few years. I usually get the boneless skinless chicken breast. It comes with two sides (potato, rice, salad, fries). The hot sauce is amazing and I always buy. I have to say I was very disappointed about a year ago when they stopped including it in your meals and had you start paying an additional charge.It may appear a touch pricey for a quick take out but once you see the amount of food you get you will be pleasantly surprised. I can usually get 3 meals out of my one order!
I have been eating here for years! The chicken , rice, potatoes, and the hot sauce are amazing! So fresh and juicy ! My only compliant is that they don't give u that small portion of the hot sauce for free anymore. I don't mind paying for the large container of hot sauce because I always do anyways but they used to include a lil small one as well. Anyways best Portuguese food! Réservez une table maintenant
Great food. Best Portuguese chicken I have ever had and the hot sauce is phenomenal. If you like a little spice make sure you ask for a large portion of the sauce. You'll be growning your food in it. Potatoes and rice with the salad was great as well. Great for hosting large parties. Call in advance to order.
Absolutely amazing chicken. So thin and tasty and when you add the sauce, wow!!I also enjoyed the salad. Rest of fam tried the fried and rice. All delicious. The lines can be long, and you will always wait, no matter how far in advance you place your order. Good things come to those who wait.
