We've enjoyed Red Wood for years when they were at the Oakland County Farmers market. Finally made time to come visit them at their restaurant location and wasn't disappointed! The food has somehow gotten even better than the amazing food we all remembered. There are so many fun new options and it was all delicious. The kids loved their meal options and of course the in house made desserts. Please be sure to take time and go enjoy the atmosphere and terrific food! 5 million stars!Kid-friendliness: They have a large kids menu and we're very accommodating to picky eaters.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the full rib slab dinner along with several sides. We tried the mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, BBQ beans, and macaroni and cheese. The only dish we didn't enjoy was the collard greens; everything else was outstanding. The staff was also very friendly!
Stopped in for dinner and they didn’t disappoint. Both of us had the pulled pork sandwich with tots. My husband also had Mac n cheese while I had collard greens. Both were very tasty. We also tried their homemade chocolate walnut cake and a mini cheesecake. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back!
This restaurant has a cheerful atmosphere, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Our meals arrived in a timely manner, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food—it was fantastic! I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Daily smoked meats! This is the best smoked barbecue I've ever tasted! I highly recommend the brisket queso, and definitely try the homemade cheesecake. You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu!
