Redstone American Grill

We asked for a booth but did not get a booth even though booths appeared empty. We were seated at a table between two booths loud groups, Booths have dividers and are much quieter than the tables. Once seated, we did not see a server for at least 20 minutes. The manager asked if our server greeted us yet. When told we were not, he said they would be there soon. Another ten minutes went by without a server. We were ready to leave. The food was OK but not as good as it normally is at Redstone. The cocktails appeared to have been sitting quite a while before we received them. Overall, this was the most irritating experience at this restaurant. Went to Redstone because it was the last restaurant my wife and i went to before she passed and the anniversary of her passing. The server apparently didn 't like my ID, called over the manager. She said your ID doesn 't look like Hennepin County 's . I told her, correct it 's from Dakota County. She didn 't like my answer and refused service to my entire party, still stating it doesn 't look like a Hennepin County ID . My family and friends have been going here for over a decade and will never go here again citing this power trip by your manager on Friday evening 7/26/2024 If you have a Dakota County License, they will refuse you service

Those booths are rather tight for 6 people. Love the seabass, but this time I felt it was a bit dry, overdone. Could have used a little more of the stir fry veggies. Mine was really lacking mushrooms. (Had to steal my friend's! and the server could have checked with us a little more. If he had come back we would have ordered an appetizer.

Very attentive service (thank you Molly) and overall an enjoyable evening. Outdoor patio has a lovely view of the water but unless you sit by the railing the beautiful flower planters block a lot of it. Réservez une table maintenant

Good spot to stop and grab some dinner. Shout out to the bartender Scott. He was a great guy and made sure I was happy throughout my entire meal.
