Dim sum serve all day (on Sunday) not sure bout other days, best to call. Portions are bigger, hence pricier. Nice that they have picture menu for dim sum, order at your table. I would recommend this place if you have big groups for lunch or dinner and don't want to drive into china town. I saw they also have private rooms. Service was slow, but we came for a very late lunch and it was also super bowl. I would come back for something different and away from china town crowd. A little pricier compared to China town. Covid time. 50% capacity. Big clean pretty restaurant. Only 5 tables occupied Sunday brunch with 1 waiter. He tried hard to be fast and efficient. Food took long to come out, typically 1-2 dish at a time. But I'm not complaining Bc I understand it's covid and with business slow and limited, staff will be limited. My husband and I ate here on Valentine's Day as a last minute thing. The service was terrible and we waited a very long time to get served. Our food was so delicious, however, it made up for it. My husband ordered delivery last week and he was really pleased. Today he ordered for the both of us and the food was horrible. We could hardly eat it. We ordered 2 wonton soups, general tso chicken, and tangerine chicken that we've had before. The chicken was severely overcooked to the point were you would chew and it turned into this dry, jerky consistency; the sauces were water-downed and flavorless. The experience of lunch(Dim sum) was very very bad!! Tastes pretty good. But the service quality of the waiter/waitress were very very poor: 1. The spout of the porcelain pot containing chrysanthemum tea was broken and a large piece was missing. Ask their waiter, such a pot can be used? He actually answered me: You were not drinking from the spout. What does it matter if a piece of the spout is missing? What kind of service mentality is this? 2. The food is good, but the '1 star ' rating is for the trickery they pulled on our bill when it came time to pay. Our server pulled an old trick in the restaurant industry where they subtotal your bill to include the 18% tip and print the signature receipt leaving the tip open hoping the Customer would leave an amount on top of the already-included tip. Of course this is ultimately my fault for falling for this and I can only be so angry with this. Just be aware this is what they are doing with your bill when you dine in. CHECK YOUR ITEMIZED RECEIPTS ALONG WITH THE SUBTOTALS. Don 't support this business if they continue to allow this to happen.
First time ordering lunch specials to-go: black pepper beef, salt and pepper pork ribs, sweet and sour pork ribs and calamari. All the dishes were good, particularly the salt pepperpork! The lunch specials also include a bowl of soup. No msg in the dishes unlike other Chinese restaurants. My opinion is that this is the best place to have Cantonese/Hong Kong traditional dishes. Better go here than Chinatown!
Regal has higher class of Chinese food. I use to travel to Toronto for better Chinese food. Regal got it in Houston now. Edmin the owner always have better and new dishes to serve us. But you must willing to pay the price. Regal's quality food is not the same as other Chinese restaurants on Chinatown.
The Asian Cuisine food is so good. The flavor of taste brings back memories of staying in Hong Kong. Taking the opportunity to eat here more often if possible. Highly recommended. Must try ......... *thumbs up for steam rice noodle with shrimp. Réservez une table maintenant
