Now, let's talk about the food. The crab cake appetizer was the best we've ever had! It was mostly pure crab with just enough breadcrumbs on the outside to hold it together, featuring large chunks of crab. Delicious! We had heard repeatedly that Repeal has the best steaks in the city, so we felt we had to try them. Unfortunately, we didn't agree. My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side, even though I requested it medium well (with a bit of pink). My husband’s steak was undercooked despite him ordering medium well, too. I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was outstanding; we began with the carrots, burrata, and their homemade bread, all of which were delicious. The entrees—lobster, short ribs, and salmon—were absolutely scrumptious. The waitstaff were very attentive as well. I highly recommend this place!

Quality of ingredients and expertise of the chefs was so evident. The crabcakes were the best I've had in 20 years.  My steak was cooked to perfection, and the creamed spinach was a total delight. Be sure not to miss the bread pudding!

Great restaurant /bar located conveniently in the Hotel Distil right in the heart of bourbon row in downtown Louisville. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. I'd definitely dine here again. Réservez une table maintenant

Our waiter, Keith, was absolutely amazing! He added a personal touch to every aspect of our experience. This restaurant truly embodies professionalism, and we feel so fortunate to have discovered such a special spot!

The word that comes to mind is "meh." There's nothing particularly remarkable about this place, and spending $50 for breakfast for two feels a bit excessive. There are better local options to consider.
