We visited the 'Chrebsbach' not for the first time but it is always with a delight. The owner with her always warm welcoming is representing a first class 'house' in a village within the so-called 'wine yards' of the Kanton Zurich. The waitress' are professional and polite. The location is subdivided into Restaurant, Bar and Lunch/Dining area, all in a contemporary design. The menu is of considerable variety and so is the wine list, and the owner is always ready to advise (if requested) regarding a good wine (speciality) from the region. The Chef, a young lady, is really very well-versed and presents the fresh products in an astounding manner and quality. And the cost-benefit ratio is indeed...

Plant man im Raum Winterthur einen schönen Abend mit einem speziellen Fleischmenu denkt man wahrscheinlich nicht an Seuzach...Hier, im Chrebsbach, essen wir das feinste Chateaubriand in gemütlichster und gastfreundlichster Umgebung. Obwohl in unserer Nähe, gehen wir nicht mehr zum Essen dorthin. Qualität ist soweit in Ordnung, aber auch nicht speziell erwähnenswert - einfach "recht". Am meisten stört uns das Ambiente, Stil 70-er Jahre ohne Pfiff. Schade, die Lage wäre günstig und man könnte mehr daraus machen.
Good atmosphere of a chic restaurant in Switzerland, serves Austrian cuisine, but not quite like the Swiss. Different, but tasty all the same and not too nice a pricing also. Nice place for lunch, or for family functions. A daily menu and main menu, from appetizers to dessert.
