We found this delightful place in such a lovely setting over looking the river and had lunch on the veranda on a beautiful summer day. The service was excellent and the meal to match. We had the express menu with no choice but need not have worried as each course was excellent, starting with Smoked Herring/Potato which was full of flavour. Main course was a porc curry with butternut squash served in a delightful way and again the flavours were abundant but not overpowering. Dessert was mille feuille filled with chocolate and fruits. There was a lot of attention given to the food not always apparent on fixed price menus. We hope to return here and sample more on offer.
Les menus du midi sont tout simplement parfaits la cuisine est savoureuse imaginative mêlant différentes saveurs.La présentation est très belle sans faute de goût.La carte des vins est variée avec des vins du terroir excellents.On peut manger dehors face à la Dordogne dans la verdure et le calme ou à l'intérieur dans une très belle salle.Un lieu à connaître absolument
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Perhaps not easy to find, but with a nice view of the Dordogne.We had the menu (29€) and it has been a very long time since I ate so good: fantastic gazpacho, excellent pork dish and a lovely dessert with pear.One little remark: the dishes were served a little to fast (in and out within 1 hour)
