Restaurant du Tribunal

Ma femme et moi avions lu de bonnes choses sur le restaurant Le Tribunal et notre dîner là-bas a prouvé que les critiques avaient raison. Après un amuse-bouche de trois petites propositions savoureuses, nous avons chacun commandé le Menu Premier Jugement (un menu à trois plats à un prix raisonnable pour 36 euros). Parmi les points forts de nos entrées et plats, citons le saumon fumé, la poitrine de veau et le boudin noir de Mortagne. Les desserts étaient tout aussi délicieux avec des fruits locaux et de la crème normande. Les serveurs étaient attentifs, compétents et aimables.

We ate there twice during our stay and were blown away by quality of the meals. The choice was not enormous but it was more than enough, especially as they have a choice of starter, main, dessert that changes frequently. The service was really excellent and the restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated (with option of eating outside if weather permits). We will obviously be returning very soon.

We ordered room service from the restaurant while staying at the hotel, and absolutely loved the food. The crème brûlée au foie gras is outstanding. We also really enjoyed the filet de bar and the paleron de boeuf. And for dessert the soufflé chaud! Everything was wonderful.

Fantastic Meal all went for degustation menu and loved every single dish. Fine dining at its best, staff attentive and friendly. Meal was a real highlight of the whole trip and could not recommend it anymore. Wine pairings were great. Cannot wait to return

Well the black pudding capital of France is a delight and so is the tribunal Fantastic hotel and superb restaurant Inventive food But the wine list could seem a little tired
