We stayed at the hotel so it was just easier for us to eat dinner there after a day in Lucerne. I wasn’t very hungry, so just ordered the coconut curry lemongrass soup and a melon with ham appetizer. They were delicious. My son had the salmon entree and said it was also delicious. But let’s talk about the real star of our stay. The breakfast. Oh my, was it amazing. I had actually forgotten that breakfast was included with the room, so didn’t expect much. The make your own egg/omelette station didn’t lack for anything. Their muesli was the best! In fact, the buffet was easily the best of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Switzerland. Also, the staff was great and very attentive.
The FlorAlpina restaurant is basically an exceptional place to visit when you stay at the hotel or you want a beautiful dish. The staff is very friendly, attentive and they know how to treat people. Food is generally made with love, and made for people who appreciate food to eat well, you need to know how to eat and understand the food process. All this to say that you will be satisfied with everything
Most of the stuff is rude and slow. The food is average. My husband and I ordered percha fish fillet and all the fillets were full of bones, which is unacceptable for a fish fillet. I ordered no sparckling water and the waitress served me sparkling one, which reffused to change. I did not tasted anything else and I certainly will not visit this place again
We had a wonderful lunch sitting on the terrace looking over Lake Lucerne and watching the world go by . The service was very good and attentive. We had the Fitness-Teller (fish and pork filet), which was excellent with a wide range of side salads. The only comment is that the wine was quite expensive. We will definitely go back
