Restaurant la Baraka

We stayed overnight in Evreux en route South, and wanted to eat. Unfortunately we had forgotten that the French eat at lunchtime and the not again until after 8pm. We were really tired after leaving home in Yorkshire at 4 am, and wanted to eat early. This little gem of a restaurant was open at 6.30, the manager was friendly and welcoming, with plenty of choice on the menu. The food was delicious, lamb, chicken, cous cous and a pot of vegetables. The mint tea was delicious at the end of the meal. I would recommend this restaurant

Wanted something different, and this was delightful. Rather quiet but we were dining early. Free carrot nibbles which were tasty and spiced just right.The wine and meals were very reasonably priced. Food delicious and I forgot to take a photo until we were almost done.Place to return to when back in Evreux.

Je suis venue manger hier soir avec mon bébé. J'ai passé un bon moment, un bon repas pour une personne. Tout va bien. J'ai hésité à venir à cause des commentaires négatifs, mais finalement je ne suis pas déçue! Le serveur, très gentil! Je reviendrai bientôt. Cécile.

We were looking for something different from French food, something with a bit of spice. Best Moroccan food outside of Morocco!

Accueil très chaleureux pour 1 couverture. Le couscous est bon et vous aurez faim! Excellentes pâtisseries dessert
