Restaurant la Belle Tonkinoise

This little restaurant packs a huge punch in taste and creativity. We tried it out on the past weekend. Being from out of town, it was recommended to us for Asian 'comfort food' We started off ordering cocktails and they were very creative. FIrst time I ever had a popsicle in a drink as a swizzle stick. THe popsicle was creamy and made in the restaurant. The drink was called a Melon Pop. mmmm fantastic!The eggplant appetizer we shared and I wish I had it for myself. Their Chicken wings are one of the best I have ever had.There are great mains to choose from. Fresh, tasty and prepared perfectly. THey are very helpful with the menu. Food is amazing there!! You cannot find this somewhere else. They always have something new to try. I went with my friend and we tried the rice krispy chicken burger and the daikon tacos with braised pork... it was simply delicious!! I would definitely recommend this place.

This business has been revamped and the new menu is amazing. The grilled meat platter, Mee Kola and the chicken wings are a favourite. The special menu changes every month. Fun cocktails too! I could eat here everyday.

I would recommend not visiting this restaurant. The prices are too high for the quality of the food, particularly the overly salty soup and bland microwaved beef sautée.
