We travel extensively, eat often in one and two Michelin Starred restaurants. La Haut is deserving of a Michelin Star.The service friendly, the young woman who waited on us was truly delightful.Our lunch was spectacular to say the least. Two wonderful appetizers, followed by a fresh fish from the lake, very creative and beautifully presented and prepared.Desserts, of chocolate, and raspberry, and second one of apricot with white chocolate and sorbet.Followed by wonderful home made chocolates.The wines, rose' from the region, and white from the Valis were wonderful...I can not rate this restaurant high enough.We sat on the terrace overlooking the beautiful lake and mountains...There is none comparable in the area, including those in Vevey...We definitely will return....
Service, food, location, wine, everything was excellent. We made the reservation online, it was very easy. Once we arrived we were cordially greeted, by a couple of wonderful waitresses. At first we were seated outside for our wine, and because it cooled down in the evening we were moved inside. They always came at exactly the right moment to refill our glasses, ask if everything was good, and serve our plates. It was the best meal we had around the whole lake.
Fantastic place. Food is made with love and passion and you can taste it. Beautiful view, perfect service...what else?We had a 4 courses menu that came with delicious and inventive "amuse bouche", perfectly cooked fish and meat dishes finishing with a beautiful dessert around apricots...without forgetting the mignardises with the coffee. This may come my favourite restaurant...I definitely need to confirm!
The personnel and the ambiance was just the right mix of elegant and friendly. The food was delicious with several amuse-bouches, as well as mignardise. A small but tasty wine list. The restaurant was full and it was great to see that high level cuisine is recognised and given its rightful due. We will be back!
