Restaurant La Palourdiere

This used to be one of our special occasion restaurants. We went today for a family lunch with 2 young children. The first course arrived reasonably quickly considering it was quite busy. However nearly 2 hours later, after lots of reminding, the main course arrived. To make matters worse, the food was bordering on disgusting. We left without bothering without desserts or coffee. Very sadly, this restaurant is now firmly crossed off our list.

A beautiful day, really sunny and warm - not your typical october Sunday perhaps. Beautiful view and great service. Good idea to book if you are going on a popular day (Sunday - every table filled!). Definitely ask for a terrace table (in fact go in a four so you can get the tables at the front!) Fish was excellent.

Having had this restaurant recommended, we went today.The restaurant was full to the brim, but the staff still smiled and went about their work perfectly.The food was excellent, from the oysters to the wonderful St, Peter fish, to the big desserts. The only minus: you wait a bit too long for the food.

Great welcome, great food, atmosphere always good even in the rain. Must book in high season. Great view of Etang de Thau, you can sit on the terrace and look out over the view - wonderful

Recommended by TripAdvisor. Beautiful location. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent fresh food. Prices are little higher than average. Overall "Five stars"
