The location would be perfect (directly on the Aare). We were a larger group (pre-registered) and didn 't feel welcome... Some of the service staff understand little or no German, which makes it difficult to order. What you noticed with the starter, many of us ordered the nut salad with Italian sauce, all came with French sauce... When the new salad came, French sauce was still visible, so the sauce was simply washed off and swapped . The food is average, the starter was rather small and the price-performance ratio is not right. When we visited on a Friday, we were the only guests for a long time and the many staff were just standing around out of boredom. I will no longer be a guest there.
Me and my husband and our 17 year old daughter ate there for the first time, the food was fine, I've eaten much better, the worst came later, all three of us had to vomit and that was a shame for the money we paid The whole evening we ate again and we felt very bad, so I would be careful with the main menu, I don't recommend it and I'll never go there again
The receptionists were warm and welcoming compared to dealing with other restaurants. My request is as follows. Mix salad was good. The spaghetti bolognese pasta was delicious. I didn't like the chicken with mushrooms. We provide a menu in English The place is beautiful and overlooks the lake and has very nice outdoor seating
The service was unfriendly! After ordering we had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes. wait for the food. When we asked the waitress after an hour if our food was coming soon, she replied that it was our fault. We would have ordered too late... We skipped dessert because we didn't want to wait another hour!!

Beautiful location on the Aare, cozy, fine food, always very friendly and courteous service, very nice staff! The boss was also present during a visit. However, we felt the atmosphere was stressed and that was exactly how the boss seemed to us. We didn't feel very welcome.
We sat there to eat lunch on Friday. The location it the best. Right by the river with ducks and swans. But as most restaurant with great view, the food is just average. The Pizza and the pasta were merely ok. While the service was...below average. Wine was ok.
Unfortunately it's no longer what it once was. Unprofessional and no longer a tradition. It's a shame, I used to really like La Perla.
Since we entered the placethe service was optimal! Good Wine, good food, good service, what else can you aks for in a restaurant?

Food was cold, prices were exaggerated, quantity was like a child's portion and staff were very unfriendly and incompetent!
