Agréable surprise. Certes, cela faisait longtemps que l'on ne s'arrêtait plus là-bas. Pas top, pas joli, pas très bon. Mais il y a eu du changement. D'accord il faisait très beau et on a pu trouver une table sur la terrasse, mais nous avons bien mangé : spécialités valaisannes. L'accueil était souriant. Petit bémol quant au service un peu pas très organisé, dirons-nous, mais qu'importe. La façade du bâtiment, autrefois immonde, a été repeinte en rouge sang de boeuf et 2 magnifiques vaches noires trônent au-dessus de l'entrée. C'est beau, c'est bien pensé et ça attire ! Bravo !
When you want to stop skiing at midday, "La Vache Noire" du petit Mt Bonvin at 2400m ,close to Aminona side, is a good place to rest. You can eat on the big terras,plenty of room inside and a special place for only picknick. You can choose for the restaurant with private terras of the self-service. I took there a goulasch (soup-meat-vegetable) with some cheese and croutons for 8CH. With less salt it would be perfect.
