Restaurant Le Napoléon

We have dined here several times over the years and have recommended it to friends. Like most restaurants today they are short staffed but manage to make it work. My partner had the calamari with Caesar salad . He asked that they come together along...with my pasta. That did not happen. My pasta was delivered after my partner finished his calamari. His Caesar arrived with my pasta. I am a slow eater so basically I watched him eat then he watched me. So frustrating but I am giving the place a pass because of pandemic and our previous dinners. Our poor sever Cassandra was run off her feet. It is never an easy job but especially now.

After a visit to the nearby Omega Parc we dropped by this restaurant for an early lunch without any reservations. We were the first customers of the day and were immediately seated. Montebello is a small town where the principal employer is the nearby Chateau...Montebello, managed by Accord. Napoleon has presented an overly ambitious menu, apparently feeling they have to compete with the Chateau. They can 't and they don 't. The best plate ordered was Xavier 's grilled cheese. In the writer 's opinion this restaurant should give up any pretense of serving haute cuisine and try and develop an expertise in the midrange.

Fabulous spot near Parc Omega in the middle of Ottawa and Montreal. Provided bread, which was tasty with salted butter and pesto walnut butter. Strawberry daiquiri (both alcoholic and not) were yummy. I got there amazing French onion soup and yummy Caesar salad. Partner got their blood sausage pudding pizza and said it was the best pizza he has ever had! Dessert was alright, we got the fudge cake, a bit rich and I would have like more carmel hazelnut The bill was super reasonable for the quality of food, ambiance and service

My husband and I just arrived home from a wonderful two day trip to Montebello to the Chateau. After reading some reviews, I decided to reserve the Discovery Dinner for two this past Monday evening. It was one of the best culinary experiences of our...lives. All 5 courses were absolutely amazing...as was the wine pairing. The server was equally wonderful. We could not provide higher recommendations for this establishment's discovery menu (chef's choice). We have already emailed them our sincere gratitude. Réservez une table maintenant

We found the food here very good. We had 2 children with us and the slow service was a problem as the kids became tired and bored. I know there is an issue with getting staff since COVID so can't blame the restaurant but good...to know in advance. The adults' food was delicious but the childrens' menu is an afterthought for sure. One of the child's pizza came almost burned and the grilled cheese sandwich was not tasty. It seemed to have sauerkraut on it which most children do not enjoy.

The staff were fantastic and the food was outstanding. We decided to go for the tasting discovery chef's menu where we had 5 courses and also opted for the wine pairing.. Value for money was exceptional. The chef is quite talented and the...wait staff was great explaining what we were getting and how the wine paired with it. truly one of the best we have had in many years,

not child-friendly we were 6 adult 2 children after ordering and waiting for about 30 minutes, we were told that the child order can not be served when they ran out of han we asked the manager of the opportunity if...we can only bring the children meal from outside and we can still have the order placed, they refused so that we had to go it is absolutely not acceptable

we had dinner here and enjoyed the experience immens. jeremy, our waiter, was attentive, helpful and friendly. he chose the perfect wee to go with our bison and made us feel like family. Thank you. Réservez une table maintenant

Wonderful service and food. Waitress was polite and knowledgeable of the foods and drinks. Definitely a place to stop when travelling into Montebello

dinner here is amazing high quality food and interesting menu. paid less then we did at aux chantignoles and got a much better meal
