Restaurant o fil de l’o

Moored on the riverbank for the night, lovely scenic little hamlet. Walked up to restaurant, about 10minute walk from riverbank (take a torch on a dark evening, you have to go cross a small field or follow the main road). Staff were very welcoming, helped us with the menu and taught us some more French! Our party has the duck, lamb and steak...all was wonderfully cooked, rustic French food! The deserts were fabulous and we had a great evening...great little find, would definitely recommend! Not cheap but not top end either...

We walked up from the canal, without reservations and were delighted with this meal. It was incredibly hot during this week, so all of the dinners chose to eat in the garden, and enjoy a wonderful twilight. The staff was very hospitable to our basically non-French speaking group. Most of our party chose the meal of the day which consists of entree, main dish and dessert.The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

It was the only open restaurant in town, of the two. The service was prompt and we were offered English menu's right off bat which was nice. The food was pleasant, my duck was cooked really well. All in all it might not be a five star affair, but it gets the job well and the people are friendly.

We were pretty tired of our first day on Canal du Midi so we enjoyed the dinner at hotel restaurant. Do not expect gourmet, but it is realy rewarding and was good.

Had dinner there tonight. Service was good woth very friendly staff. Food was Bistro style and basic.
