This is simply a breakfast / brunch restaurant. The first time I went I found the food ok, it’s hard to screw up bacon and eggs. The “fresh fruit” that is served with your order was sparse and not really that fresh. I went again and this time I had a pancake and French toast. After the food arrived I asked for maple syrup and was told they had none and was given a bottle of sugar syrup which was just that “sugar”.That should have told me not to return but, I said let’s give them another chance. After all they had a promotion, a free Banana / Strawberry smoothie, with coupon. Just another come on. In a quaint house. The Bar has lots of atmosphere. Terrace is wonderful with a view of Mount Royal in the far distance.. I have never been disappointed with the breakfast. It was a hot day in September that we decided to go here for breakfast. The terrace was romantic with hanging grapevines around and above. It was decorated for fall with hay stacks around the perimeter and sheaths of corn sticking out around the enclosure. It was so cute. You can see that the owners take great care. The service was impeccable, very friendly.
I use to make this a regular brunch event when my daughter was a toddler. My mother and I would take her with us shopping on the weekends and we would make it a point of having brunch here. The wait staff are great with kids and the food is great. Their brunch options are delicious and huge servings. Coffee is great also. Priced right for the service and food being served up.
I just have to start by saying that the waitress who served me today 29/07/2017 around noon, was sweet and charming. She took very good care of our table! Very attentive...all in all the service was impeccable! The food was excellent! It arrived hot and fresh! The breakfast club is delicious! The restaurant itself is really quaint, love the decor! I am in love.
