positiw: pizza (al a casa) and pasta (spaghetti alla carbonara) were very tasty prepared. pizzateig had good Italian yeast flour flavor (similar tipico 00 flour) and sugo was aromatic. also fresh (peperoni and wobble.) carbonara sauce very tasty and fine demand whether we should order a small dessert (1xtiramisu and 1xcoup denmark) (on the map there were only large portions) this was served so with discount of around 3 TOP! containing quite a lot of white fat strips. there are stall speck (with much white fat) and also good speck (with meat.) women like the white fat stop not so. negatiw: bruschetta, as an appetizer were a poor product. use other brot and make it hard. quite sweetly created. not worth money. Price/performance ratio good to adjusted. more so!Lage: right at the aare (flu.) great ambiente.
Well, there's a lot of Italian restaurant competition in downtown Thun, and one would hope that it led to better and better food. Maybe it does, but not here. The bread was almost literally tasteless. My wife had gnocchi, and it was close to tasteless. I had spaghetti Bolognese, and rarely have I had this dish served with less imagination or taste. Service was courteous and fast -- so fast that it was clear that the dishes were ready to be moved out. Price for these two dishes plus sparking water: $53 Swiss Francs. Food here is expensive. Trip Advisor readers would be well advised to look elsewhere, sorry to say.
with the most beautiful summer weather we enjoyed the delicious dinner at the aare in the mill place. the "bisteca di maiale" and the zigeunerspies were both well prepared and were rich with pommes. the service of the whole equipe - starting from the chef - was very courteous and despite the high-powered on Sunday evening speditiw. caffe, icy, apfelschorle and valser for thuner conditions extremely inexpensive. we're coming back.
