it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and we were very happy to have lunch in the rest of rigi, as my family this restaurant is visited over 40 years. the location is beautiful and the restaurant has no doubt great potential that it has not exhausted for over 30 years. it has come into the years and has been forever stunted by the ambiente. the wonderful terrace with gravel and trees should not be dazzled with plastic chairs. the service was nice, but slow. I think the restaurant is underused by the personal. the slow pace didn't disturb us, we were having fun with nice friends. the apero drink was uncooled and came without ice, but then it was brought on request. the weeping was brought to the table in the weeping cooler, which was unfortunately still dirty, inside and out. the food was good, the meat was tender and fried as desired. but...
we went past the last Sunday and wanted to eat with family. it was so against 6 o'clock and it had still very little gaeste. we waited over 15 minutes until finally someone brought a menu past. the chef had a loud division with his waitress and was above all tired of his friends who sat next to the table, to bring beer and to exchange layers. He totally ignored us. the other staff is not much better/friendly and absolutely at the lower end. since the hotel/restaurant has whole bus full Chinese tourist, play a few more or less no roll. we went back without having the chance to order something. should be located a cantilever for the Swiss. actually at top position but otherwise lowermost drawe...
unfortunately not a good gastro experience. location top, but fish plate visuel as well as gustatory not worth the name. various (?) fish large and small seem at the same time frozen in fat. the smaller varieties dry and the large pieces unappetiably. Pity

We sate outside and had cold beers prior to our dinner. The views were devine! Then we had the standard fare Swiss cuisine and were both satisfied with our plates.

Super Service, tolle regionale Weine und Speisen, dann noch der Blick auf den See einfach fabelhaft. Wir kommen wieder, sehr empfehlenswert.
Ich habe vor 20 jahren dort zwei Ausbildungen gemacht. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit.
