We booked for dinner less than an hour before we hoped to dine and had no trouble. Started with scallops which were well cooked and flavour balanced. Mains, we chose lamb loin and pork fillet which were both cooked perfectly at medium rare. Of the two the lamb was our favourite as it had more elements adding flavour and texture to the dish. The pork was also very good. Kids ordered rigatoni which was perfect for them, they ate everything!The girls shared the hazelnut brownie which was nice but possibly a little small for the price.Recommended for a fine dining evening where quality ingredients and flavour is important.
We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The staff were fast and efficient, and helpful with wine advice. WE both ordered the eye fillet rare, with potato mash, onion rings and bacon jam. The fillet was outstanding - cooked to rare perfection. The potato mash was lovely and creamy, and the cripsy little bits of onion great additions. Not sure about that bacon jam though - it had no discernible flavour. The wine list is interesting, with lots of Tasmanian offerings. Pity we could not fit in dessert.
The restaurant is set on Hobart's waterfront and is a warm and inviting place to dine. The food is superb and good sized servings, the service is the only thing stopping me giving a five star review. No wine list offered, slow drink service and entree dishes left on table after mains served, staff seemed too keen to chat behind bar and not pay attention to customers, shame because the chefs are doing a great job.
After watching our main meal being served to another table, sit there for 5 minutes, poked at and then be returned to the kitchen. It was then served to us, on hot plates but cold food. Trying to ask for our water to be refilled and another glass of wine also took numerous attempts. Poor service on a slow Sunday night. Overall a disappointing experience.

Attendez plus d'une demi-heure pour la côtelette de porc, mais c'était toujours brut! Le personnel a vérifié avec le chef et m'a dit que c'était parce que la viande était près de l'os et c'était bien. La seule chose qui est belle dans ce cours est le brocoli. N'essayez jamais ça!
Les pétoncles sont un must. Le fenouil crunchie et la pomme slav le rendent vraiment délicieux. Est allé pour le poisson de la journée pour le main-d'œuvre et cela n'a pas déçu. Pour un restaurant de l'hôtel, c'est vraiment bon !!
We dined here for convenience as we stayed in the Hotel. Very good service, friendly staff, good selection of local and Australian wines, the best tasting rib eye steak I've had in awhile and happy we came here.
Excellent service et bonne nourriture. J'ai eu le filet oculaire et partagé un côté des haricots verts en noisette, qui était exceptionnel. Super recommandations de vin et service.

Food (seafood)was fresh and well presented. For a business trip travelling alone, the service was second to none.
