Restaurant Zum Viertele

I ate here in May 2017.I had been looking for a place that did fladlesuppe and spaetzle (traditional foods of the area) and found them here.I have to say that there wasn't much ambience when I was there but I was eating quite early. I was welcomed very warmly by the staff and seated and order made in very short order. I had my fladlesuppe but wasn't too impressed - however I don't think this is down to the cooking, I think it is down the dish itself - just think that I am not a fan!Had a very good salad between courses, lovely fresh and crisp with a lovely dressing.for mains I had roast beef with spaetzle which was very nice and more than made up for my lack of enthusiasm towards the fladlesuppe.I had a lovely riesling and had another glass on the terrace after dinner.Overall, if you are looking for traditional food this is a good spot to go, however I wasn't blown away

I have to say that there was not much ambience when I was there, but I eat pretty... almost. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and commissioned in a very short order. I had my fladle soup, but was not too impressed, but I don't think this is until cooking, I think it's downstairs the dish itself think I'm not a fan! Had a very good salad between courses, nicely fresh and crisp with a beautiful dressing. for the net I had Bratbeef with sparrow, which was very beautiful and more than formed for my lack of enthusiasm towards the fladle soup. I had a nice sprinkle and had another glass on the terrace after dinner. Overall, if you are looking for traditional food, this is a good place to go, but I was not blown away

Many times to this beautiful restaurant. Traditional decor but cozy. As we go there on Saturday, it's always busy. Once they refused to have us in (winter time) as there was no table free. And once sitting, some patience served and fed. They have terrace seats when it is warm and pleasant. Service is friendly. Reliable dishes. Appropriate prices. Dog-friendly(don't expect water). I have seen singles and families enjoy meals here. Toilets clean. Recommend this restaurant.

We needed to wait for the food for about 1 hour. There were many guests, but only 2 employees. Service was not good. We weren't asked for drinks, but needed to wait like 20 minutes for the first order. Empty plates from starters were not removed. As well main dishes plates stayed with us for very long. The food quality is medium only with no creativity. Prices are rather high for Germany.I would not go there again.

That was a meal when family members came together who hadn't met or had seen each other for years. We were treated with empowerment, care and good humor. The food was delicious and generous and the service attentive and helpful.
