Restaurante Sushi Light

I finally got to go here on Tuesday for half price sushi or “ Buy one, get one free!” This is a good chain restaurant in Medellin with locations in La Strada, Laureles, Santafé El Tesoro. We went to the one in the fashionable El Tesoro mall because I was told it has a beautiful view of the city and that was no exaggeration! I was also told that there would be a line and there was. But, the line moved quickly I didn’t mind waiting. The service was very friendly more than efficient I thought the sushi was good. The rice was not quite the texture as I’ve had in other sushi restaurants throughout the world. But, it was nothing to complain about. I didn’t order the classics because I can get them...

Late lunch with friends. Recommend by another establishment in the mall. Tuesday 2 for1. Lousy service. Had to constantly call the waiter to come over. Only 2 tables at the restaurant. Staff members at the bar chatting and eating. Asked for several sushi rolls that were badly prepared. Rice not well cooked. No individual plates...just eat over a paper placemat? Had to ask for service plates. Too bad this place had such lack of service and mediocre food..the only good thing were the drinks...coke sparkling water and flavored soda drink I do not think I will return.

This spot is very inexpensive but the quality is definitely lacking. My favorite item from here was the salmon (sake) nigiri (sushi) the fish on top of rice with a bit of soy sauce. The fish quality was great but the rice was somewhat “al dente” which is not my favorite for sushi or rolls. Other than that I’d definitely come here on Tuesdays seeing that most items are two for one.

This is a favorite chain with the locals. On Tuesdays (I think) they run 2 for 1 specials. Many of the names, like California Rolls, are the same but often with different ingredients. It's not uncommon to see a roll covered with mangos or bananas. Réservez une table maintenant

Not the best sushi place. Decided to give it a go as there was a huge line outside on Saturday evening, but wish i did not go. A lot of sauces placed on top of the sushi, rice was not tight so sushi falls apart easily. Service was ok.

Terrible! Avoid this place if you don’t want to get food poisoning. I went with three friends and we all got sick after eating not fresh sushi. We vommit day after day and spoiled the rest of our vacation

Amazzzzzzing I had so much yummy-ness Thank you! First of all the bao buns a must have and the sauces on the sushi were unique, uplifted the dish and were deeelish!

Nice place to get some sushi. Alex excellent server. Their octopussy is really good. The soda saborisada-tónico also is a nice touch to the sushi. Réservez une table maintenant

A chain restaurant but for sure worth a try , service was great , food good , wait was little long but not unbearable..

I went with a few friends on a tuesday and the price for all 4 of us with beers and food was around $45-$50 canadian!!
