We biked to Janick to have lunch on thier terrasse facing the Richelieu River. When we arrived, waitresses walked by us as we were waiting for a seat without even acknowledging our presence. When someone finally did come to seat us, it was not in...the friendliest manner, hardly even a smile. The waitress showed up a few minutes later and put two glasses of water on the table, we were three people. She later returned with another glass and walked away without saying a word. When she did come back to take our order, she was pleasant, but not really cheerful. The restaurant was busy, but I felt that just a smile can make all the difference in helping us to have patients. très bonne cuisineemplacement idéal , emplacement sur la rivière fort agréablemais un service déplorable : jeunes sans formation . elles passent les assiettes devant les convives pour servir le voisin... transportent une bouteille de vin penchée , laissant une trainée de vin au sol, le plateau des desserts déséquilibré tombe et une partie des convives doivent attendre pour être servi que l'on les prépare à nouveau. 2 fois une serveuse chute dans l'escalier, finalement cela est distrayant mais bruyantnous sortons du restaurant sans que les serveuses au bar nous disent un seul "merci, au revoir"
Ten of us went for supper to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We asked for a high chair for our 21 month old grandson. None available as they were all being used outside. No air conditioning. One waitress to serve, greet clients, prepare bar drinks and look...after cash. Not her fault, she was alone so service was slow not so great with a 21 month old and no high chair! Food was okay. I had a brie stuffed chicken. Not sure there was much brie in it, or it had all melted away. Would I go again? Maybe in the Fall when it was cooler.
We discovered this restaurant on the internet and decided to make a reservation on the line. We ask for a terrace seating and have confirmed it so. The bistro menu is good and we did it as table d’hote for 2 of us. Apetizers... and wine came in a short time, but main dish came 1 hour later. The waitress kept saying, "It won't be long," but we waited and waited. The restaurant looked busy, but I think they were under the staff in the kitchen. Food was good and presentation was ok
Nice location along the river.Restaurant is overcrowded,food is passable,serv Nice location along the river.Food is passable but unfortunately not served hot.Tables are overcrowded.service is slow.Really don`t bother eating there,Restaurant is made up of multiple dining rooms and multiple terraces.The powder room for all these people...has 1 single toilet.....unbelievable!There are much better restaurants in the same location.
We only ordered the bbq chicken and pork poutine from here and would not recommend it. Not terrible, but only average. Fries were not crispy enough, chicken was delicious, but needed more spices. Location on the river front is wonderful. I would recommend visiting the...place, you will not leave hunger, but far from fine restaurants
Soirée excellente et réussite!! le repas était excellent et le service impeccable merci les filles!!!! ca devait pas être toujours facile mais surtout un gros merci Janick pour ta générosité c'était ma première fois à ton resto et ça ne sera pas la dernière et je vais te référer à plusieurs encore merci pour tout!!!!
J'ai adoré!!! Un endroit magnifique avec sa terasse sur le richelieu. Très bonne nourriture, la salade de crevettes était originale et délicieuse. Mes enfants ont aussi aimé! Enfin un resto qui offre un menu pour enfants avec des choix santé poulet et légumes). On y retourne certainement !
