A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and my first two visits were great. However, when I went on Mother's Day 05/09/2021 with my Peruvian girlfriend, the ceviche I ordered was terrible. It seemed like they might have a new chef, because whoever prepared the dish did not do a good job. I couldn't even finish it and ended up feeling sick. Paying $45 to leave feeling unwell was disappointing, and I do not plan on returning.
Went back today and we were very disappointed? we ordered two ceviches, one mixto and a jalea and they were terrible. Very small portions. The Jalea was made with very small pieces of fish and shellfish. The salad with onions on top of Jalea were dry. And on top of that received a pricey bill with gratuity included? We paid and left, not going back? Very unfortunate.
THE BEST CEVICHE IN ALL OF NEW JERSEY. There food is so fresh so good and authentic Peruvian cuisine. I absolutely love this place their service is very good and they are a great business and restaurant. When they shut down last year for nearly 2 months I was devastated, I even tried to look up the chef. Their food is amazing 10/10
A family friend bought me lunch from this restaurant, but unfortunately, the grilled chicken was quite bland, overloaded with rice, and lacked flavor. She also mentioned that the server was rude. Since there are other Peruvian restaurants nearby, I plan to explore those options, especially ones known for better customer service. Réservez une table maintenant
I went with my dad and we loved the food!. The dishes were pretty big and personally I recommended La Jalea . It is spectacular!! and finally we got surprised with some artistic music for father 's day, my dad was very happy . Highly recommended!
I visited Reventon Del Sabor on a quiet evening and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my meal arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing traditional Peruvian comfort dishes at their best.
The food at Reventon Del Sabor is incredible, and the service is excellent. Conveniently situated in front of the town hall and a lovely park, it's the perfect spot to unwind after a meal at El Reventon.
