This was our second visit to Revolver and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at 8:30am on a Sunday morning. It was packed! This place is popular. It was worth the 15 minute wait for a table. They have outside tables with heaters (&blankets supplied) and inside it was warm & cosy. Child friendly with high chairs available. My husband ordered the big breakfast. It was delicious - also rather large and he couldn't finish it. I ordered trout with corn fritters. Also yummy with quality ingredients. We ordered a side of toast which was huge. On a cold winters day this restaurant is still very busy and for those that order take-away, there is not always room to wait inside. Hence I ordered a tea and to allow other customers to order as well and maintain a flow for the cafe, I respectfully waited outside. However, after 15 min waiting my tea had not yet arrived, so I went inside to question it. I got a curt answer that she had yelled out 3 times. So instead of finding me outside (which is done on warmer days as I have seen staff call out names to the many people that wait outside, this time it was deemed a great customer service decision to let the tea go cold, instead of calling out in all areas where customers sit and wait. Went with my boyfriend for a nice brunch. The place is quite off the main road but once you get there you'll find a really quaint little homey cafe.Service was great. There was no queue when we arrived so we were seated right away. The gentlemen was very warm and has recommended the dish for the day which was a sour laksa-like noodle soup. It was really tasty and comes really well with bread. We also ordered the lamb wrap. It was good, but not the best that i've had. We also had a mango smoothie, which complimented the lamb wrap really well. Overall, it's a really nice and friendly place, especially if you live around the neighborhood.
Revolver has great food options and because it is off Johnston Street, it is a little quieter and more relaxing than some of the other cafes in Annandale. Portion serves are extremely generous and coffee is great. Only have one negative comment - there was a mix up with the bill and we were charged for some items we did not order. When I queried the bill, I got the sense that the cashier thought I was lying; and I had to call our waiter to verify that what I was saying was correct. This may have just come down to that particular cashier. I will have to try this place again to see, but this ruined what was otherwise a great experience.

Recently I have been to Revolver for breakfast during the week a few times. It is always busy and is worthwhile considering booking a table even during the week. The service is fantastic, the staff are attentive and knowledgeable and know how what they are doing. The servings are on the larger size, there is plenty of variety and innovative choices and everything we have ordered has been fresh and nicely presented. I can't wait to return and try the smoked trout.

Menu at Revolver is creative, food prep excellent and portions very generous. Atmosphere is also great with friendly timely service. A pretty spot in a quiet part of Annandale.
Ordered the bacon and egg roll and a white tea to take away. The roll was dripping in fat and sauce and the tea didn't have milk in it, which I didn't notice until I had left.

This is a great neighborhood place. Friendly staff and really good food. Family friendly and a cute place to have coffee and fabulous baked goods.
Relaxed vibe with yummy food, generous servings and good coffee. Be prepared to wait. Dog-friendly is a plus- 3 outdoor tables.
