Richie's Gourmet Italian Ices

Richie's has been around for a long time and the reason is that they serve the best handmade frozen ices and gelati in south Florida. There was a brief moment where we thought we would lose them due to the opening of Publix on the south side of Commercial, but Richie's was able to negotiate their small corner and are still going strong. My go to Italian Ice is the combination of their coconut and anything (tangerine, lemon, etc. . On occasion I will order a Gelati with their creamy vanilla gelato blended in with my ice. Richie's makes a great Cuban coffee and Cafe con Leche if you are in the mood. Always a great dessert stop or pick me up whenever you are eastbound on Commercial!

My weekly stop on a hot afternoon. A drive thru with the most delicious Italian ice with small chunks of real fruit. Rainbow is my favorite because you get to taste spoonfuls of the different fruit flavors. Grab a cup for your drive! Although often I have a difficult time choosing whether I'm going to get an Italian ice or a classic Italian dessert the Affogato Which is vanilla ice cream with a shot of hot espresso poured over top, as the ice cream begins to melt it's the most delicious coffee dessert served in a cup! A Must Try!! I love this drive thru!!

I felt like the Italian ice was more like a snow cone and not as smooth as Italian ice should be- soft serve was ok, nothing overwhelmingly good and I don't think the chocolate flavor was mixed all the way when it was served since it had a lot of specks in it and inconsistent flavor. Great prices through and quick service- don't park and eat because then you get stuck behind the drive thru line while trying to getting out

Found this place while in traffic. Turned in and am so glad I did. Delicious cappuccinos and blended coffees. I added espresso to the coffee of course. Super nice people as well. I’m a Gulf Coast guy, so finding friendly places to go over here is super important. Support local. Réservez une table maintenant

The cutest littlest Italian icee shop! Service was great, drive thru, two benches to sit outside. My icee was sooo refreshing and delishhh! So perfect for the summer time eat. Can't wait to go back again soon.

They took my child allergies in consideration when ordering. The staff had a smile and made us smile. Will go back and I recommend this place

Staple in the OP. Cotton candy for the kids, mom likes the almond joy (coconut and chocolate), and I go with the watermelon Réservez une table maintenant

Refreshment and full taste. I recommend the watermelons and coconuts. The mourning mixed with tangan was also really good!
