During a family trip to Los Angeles from Salt Lake City we found ourselves a bit stranded, but managed to get stuck where we were lucky to find great freshly prepared food at Rick's Burger on Garvey Street in Rosemead (an area my wife, son, and I became quickly and well acquainted with). I enjoyed an Avocado Cheeseburger combo while my wife had a Chef Salad w/Turkey Ham, while my son had chicken strips. The food was delicious and hit the spot, and was a nice change of pace from traditional fast food. It felt like a classic diner from the long past. Rick’s is the bomb! From their burgers, to their Mexican plates, they got some of the best recipes in town! I recommend it to anyone whose nearby and wants to get a delicious meal! I just tried their Chile verde burrito and man, it did not disappoint! 5 stars all the way!
