Riseley Village Tea Room

For anyone that has not yet discovered the tea room at Riseley, I simply cannot recommend it highly enough, A great little unspoiled venue with fabulous service and amazing food. It’s definitely with booking in advance but the team do their best to accommodate walk ins. You can have tea and cakes, or a full afternoon tea, you can also just pop in and grab a takeaway which we have done. If eating in, the crockery is a particular highlight and adds to the experience. The team could not be more welcoming or accommodating. Children are also welcome and my daughter was made to feel very special and grown up. A wonderful place to celebrate a birthday with friends so relaxed and friendly. The Christmas Afternoon tea is fabulous with a lovely and very generous) selection of sandwiches and beautifully made cakes and scones all really fresh and very tasty. And we loved the choice of jams with the scones and teas to suit everyone. A big thank you to Karen and Debbie. See you again in 2024

We visited to Riseley tea rooms for our WI Christmas afternoon tea. It was simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and great service from Karen, Debbie and Cathy. Attention to detail second to none and fantastic sandwiches, cakes and scones. We had the added bonus of a pianist who played Christmas songs we sang along to. Great value and definitely recommend.

This is such a lovely, gentle experience, putting you in mind of 1940s parlours at Nanna’s house. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious- home baked goodies, freshly cut sandwiches and a wide selection of teas, all served in antique china cups and saucers. Service was equally delightful. The restaurant is located in a village hall tea room with a simple, bright, and nostalgic setting. The menu includes delicate sandwiches, delicious cakes, and warmed scones served on beautifully set tables. The host and serving staff are welcoming and friendly, making this tea room an absolute gem that consistently delivers high-quality service.

Had a lovely time, food was delicious and staff friendly and helpful. They provided yeast free bread for me, which was a real treat as haven’t been able to have a sandwich in over 2 years. Good selection of teas and jams. Highly recommended and look forward to visiting again soon best to book as it is justifiably popular.

We had a delightful afternoon tea with friends to celebrate our birthdays. The home made cakes and sandwiches were delicious. Karen and Debbie were very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place and have already booked another visit.
