A disappointment. This was the second time I've ordered from Rising Sons, and I'm sad to say there won't be a third. My party ordered Pad Thai with tofu (medium spice), Drunken Noodles with tofu (medium spice), Panang Curry with chicken (very spicy), and spring rolls with pork. The Pad Thai tasted solely of ketchup, and the tofu had clearly been pre-cooked in one large slab and then cut into pieces. Overall it was a sticky mess, and not pleasant to eat. It was not spicy at all.The Drunken Noodles were similar, though tasted vaguely of soy sauce instead of ketchup. Again, no spice to speak of.The Panang curry was indeed very spicy...but that's it. The overwhelming flavor was capsaicin. The spri...

I'm not sure if there was a new cook today, but our food seemed like it was made by someone who just glanced at a picture and tried to replicate it. The sauce on my Pad Thai resembled gravy rather than the traditional sauce. My husband had the Pad Bami, which was bland and not particularly enjoyable, though edible. The only redeeming aspect was the large portions, but unfortunately, it was just a lot of disappointing food. I would prefer smaller portions of something tastier. Leftover Thai food is usually one of my favorites, but we ended up tossing it out. We also ordered the gyoza, which was oddly breaded. My husband had the red curry from here before and said it was good, but I'm not sure...
Amazing authentic and tremendously spicy homestyle Thai and Lao food. Some of the best Pad Kee Mao and Papaya Salad I 've ever had! The pork was tender and delicious and the veggies were saucy and crunchy. The Pad Kee Mao had the delectable aroma of fish sauce, not soy sauce as many other places might use. Note that they are takeout only, and it 's faster to order online.Only the most hardened veteran spiceheads should dare try the spicy as possible level! It is extremely potent Thai birds eye chilis and perhaps something even spicier that made me tear through my freezer looking for ice cream. I will return here next time I 'm in Verona, but I 've been humbled and will be getting the very sp...
I ordered the papaya platter and fried chicken wings but was very disappointed with the quality and lack of flavor. The papaya was overly sweetened with sugar and fish sauce, and I couldn't taste the five peppers that were supposed to be in it. The fried chicken had an odd taste, as if it was on the verge of spoiling, and the beef jerky was excessively sweet. The only item that stood out positively was the sticky rice, which is hard to get wrong! Réservez une table maintenant
We used to go to the High Point Rd location regularly before it closed and opened here. My favorites are the Coconut Soup with chicken or pork, and Keng Kari with tofu. The flavors are so wonderful, portions are generous, and prices really reasonable. I would highly suggest ordering takeout!Parking: There's a parking lot for the strip mall, and because it's takeout only the spots are open frequently. Also street parking is available in front.
The pad ew was like a mushy, overcooked pasta. I wouldn’t serve that to anyone. It's a real disappointment. On a positive note, the crab Rangoon was excellent. The dumplings were mediocre at best. If it weren't for the crab Rangoon, I would give the food a zero. However, the elderly male receptionist was warm, friendly, and very pleasant, so I give him a 5. Overall, the food gets a 1.
This restaurant is currently carry-out only, no dining room. I was pleased with the menu selection, and clear markings of gluten free items. I ordered Pho, and it was amazing. Way more than I could eat (and I can eat a lot! We were given an accurate prep time estimate, and we all enjoyed our dishes.
I really wanted to like this place. I found a hair in my noodles, my chicken was bland, my meal came with items it wasn’t supposed to and didn’t come with items it listed on website. The picture on the website was very misleading to what I actually got. Disappointed : Réservez une table maintenant
Carryout. Pad Thai was decent. Curry Squash was too watery thin, Tom Kha was awesome with lots of shrimp (paid extra for shrimp though). Fried spring rolls were great.
Great food and service. Too bad it is only option to take out. Definitely recommended it for great Thai food take out

"Place is pretty good. You should definitely do something with the grease trap, that's behind the counter. When you walk in, all you can smell is a dirty locker room/ dirty dish water. Not food. It's kinda gross!!"
