Ristorante Cavallino in Hacienda

Our family party of five celebrated a birthday here. Service was fine and friendly. We started with bruschetta and pizza bruschetta which was nicely flavored. One in our party got a pizza which he liked. Two got a cheesy pasta dish which they found too...bland, another had a schnitzel which was ordinary and I had a rump steak with onions, fried potatoes and vegetables. I very much enjoyed my dish. The steak was flavorful and cooked exactly right and the vegetables and potatoes were good. So I think it is good depending on what you order.

Unusual to find such a great Italian restaurant in the area. We were lucky with the weather as it was very hot. The seafood and wine on offer were of the highest standard. The service was great and even though we were a party of...ten we were served promptly and it was delicious. Extremely good value and I cannot recommend it highly enough if you visit the lovely old town of Bensheim.

I visited this Restaurant several times, last weeks ago. We enjoed the cooking very much you can`t have Italian kitchen nowhere better in Germany to an aceptable Price. The Restaurant is a little dificult to find a smal road beside Berliner Ring ..at Bensheim-City. Try it! Wilhelm

The restaurant is in the middle of a field. It has a large parking place and a children playground. Large outside sitting facility. The mane includes the typical Italian popular dishes and some German such as schnitzel.

Awesome place with great outdoor dining area. Friendly staff, very attentive and tasty Italian food. Standard dishes are fairly priced and daily menus are a bit upscale this fresh.
