Ristorante Ferrara

Went for a meal with some friends on a Saturday night. We had booked a table in advance to ensure there was capacity for us. We were well received and our table was ready when we arrived. The staff was very attentive, and we received drinks while studying the menu. The menu had a variety of different dishes, and we chose a few different courses. The waiter was very helpful with choosing the right wines, and we got to taste a few different types before deciding. We ended up with wines matching the food very well. Wir verbrachten einen netten und entspannten Abend dort.Der Besitzer hatte wegen des Geburtstags meiner Frau draußen für uns einen Tisch gedeckt. Bei rund 30° fühlten wir uns in Italien.Die Vorspeisen, Carpaccio mit Steinpilzen und das Trio von Carpaccio, Vitello Tonnato und gratinierter Jakobsmuschel war ausgezeichnet.Die Hauptgerichte, Baby Butt sowie Lammfilets auf Salat ebenfalls hervorragend, wie der vom fteundlichen Ober empfohlene Wein.Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Berlin kommen wir gern zurück.

This restaurant is run by a real italian and you can eat here real authentic italian food (when taking the order you can tell the waiter that you do not want a cream based sauce, because cream is not used in traditional italian recepies). Food is delicious and always fresh, wines are good and affordable, staff is very friendly! This place is a hidden gem! You cannot go wrong!

Das Ferrara ist seit knapp einem Jahr mein Stammlokal als unmittelbarer Bewohner der Nachbarschaft. Es gibt viele namhafte Italiener am Kudamm aber Giacomo Ferrara und seine Frau bestechen durch super nette Gastfreundlichkeit und eine sehr gute Küche zu fairen Preisen.Etwas versteckt, aber durchaus ein Geheimtip der langsam nicht mehr geheim bleibt..Von daher, weiter so ! köstliche Pasta mit Pfifferlingen, Antipasti, guter Wein, zuvorkommende Bedienung, entspanntes Geniessen auf der Terrasse in einer Oase in Kudammnähe. Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Berlin wäre es verlockend sich durchs Menü zu Essen.

Просто шикарное место. Паста была просто замечательная - лучшая, что мне попадалась за два последних года. Обслуживание в итальянском стиле: так, будто ты их от важных день отвлёк, но все быстро и четко.

After many disappointing experiences at Berlins restaurants, this was very positive surprise!! Service were excellent! Food were also great! Quite cheap, depends what you eat.
