We were visiting Bonn as a group of who enjoy good food and wine although not the top rated Italian in Bonn we chose Forissimo because it seemed to offer something a little different and we were certainly not let down! Situated in...the federal quarter a little way from wonderful Rheinaue park and about a minute walk from Heussallee U-Bahn station, you have to go looking for the restaurant as it is not on a typical tourist route! The restaurant itself is located at the back of a very impressive villa, with outdoor and indoor seating. The service we received was absolutely some of the best I have ever experienced and the waiter form Sicily (sorry I cannot remember your name) could not have be...
There it has never happened to us before that a food has not come warm to the table. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired.The restaurant is very nicely decorated. No cheap decoration, instead, it was very much very much in general looking adapted to each other.In addition to the attentive local staff, our visit was the absolute bestseller, but also the good climate.I can only recommend this restaurant!
Secret tip! Top Italian restaurant with great wine map and seasonal menu. Not only the staff convinces where one is still greeted personally, but also the ambience is distinctive. You feel at home there. There is a private terrace overlooking the well maintained garden. Especially recommended are the fish dishes!
