La Cena - Réservation de table

Oh little I knew before ordering the 'café glacé ' as a dessert. But first things first. La Cena is an Italian restaurant in Marly, a 14 minute bus ride away from Fribourg train station. The first impression after being seated: casual, welcoming, not crowded nor empty, very relaxed atmosphere. Perfect to spend a nice evening. Since it 's autumn, I opted for 'la chasse ', wild duck to be more precise and fagottini to start. Both dishes were delicious and highly recommended. All of this combined with a bottle of devilish Pinot Noir called Lucifer. But after all the good food there was still this temptation... for that little extra. Tiramisu... or café glacé... hmm tiramisu... maybe.. no, let '...

Als Stammgäste schätzen wir am Cena, das man hier bei allen Gelegenheit gut essen kann und immer herzlich und kompetent bewirtet wird. Man kann nach der Arbeit schnell eine ausgezeichnete Pizza oder eine Frittura mista essen und ein Bierchen dazu trinken, man kann mit den Kindern die tollen Pastagerichte essen gehen. Oder man kann ein ganzes italienisches Menu essen mit Anklängen aus der gehobener Gastronomie: Auf der diesjährigen Sommerkarte haben wir z. B. das Kalbsbries auf eine Pecorinocrème mit Amaretto-Auberginen genossen, gefolgt von einer sensationellen Meeresgrillplatte auf caramelisierten Peperoni. Egal was man isst: man bekommt eine sorgfältige, von Könnerschaft zeugende Küche mit...

Small and welcoming restaurant in Marly. A find that makes your stay in Marly great. You wouldn't tell it from the outside, but once you go inside you can feel the atmosphere and the smells of Italy. A smiling welcome from Crina and pleasant service with personalized advice. The really delicious holy pizzas (no photo because they were eaten too quickly!! . The pasta is “al dente” and the meat is on point. The desserts are homemade and you can feel the quality in the ingredients. The panna cotta is homemade and delicious. The presentation of the dishes is careful. Pleasant atmosphere and restaurant to visit. Recommended of course!

The service was good but the meal was disgraceful. Barely enough to feed a 4 year old child. The boss should change jobs where the boss should hand over the reins. Thanks to the waitresses, all the same, who are professional and friendly. Unfortunately that's not enough Réservez une table maintenant

Really not good! Once installed, we were told that the cook was ill…but we could eat pizza. Mine, burnt taste, raw mushrooms, salted ham and tomato sauce swimming in water…and there you have it: 23 CHF! Not even a sorry…!!!

Sehr gute Küche, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Immer wieder! Auch das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Anfahrt gut ausgeschildert. Réservez une table maintenant
