beautiful romantic dinner, excellent service and beautiful classic Italian menu. We tried the squids and grilled pots at the entrance as well as the grilled vegetable dish. really excellent and definitely advising. the dish of squid-pieuvres is generous enough to be shared with two. Vegetables were very tasty.Main dishes; portobello veal scalopes and chicken scalope. both accompanied by broccoli, pepper and potatoes in purée. The cooking was perfect! the tasty and aromatic dish. it is possible to park without charge. it must be very pleasant the summer days to arrive early and take a walk on the water. Horrible and inexperienced service. We were 20 people. arrived at 6:30. The waiter tells us there's not enough menus so we have to wait. we receive the entrance at 19:45 and then the dishes. We left at 21:00 with our dirty dishes still in front of us. servers took 10 minutes to prepare the invoice by remembering nothing and making a lot of mistakes. The owner is hiding instead of helping his staff. frankly disorganized and simply eat correct. A lot of salt. Last visit for us:(They managed to scrape my daughter's 18th birthday party and my mother's 60s. We were furious and instead of apologizing, the waitress told her colleague not to take him personal!!!
You can't go wrong with food that tastes like there's 5 Italian grandmothers in the kitchen, fresh pasta, servers that aren't afraid to give you their opinion and a price list for food and wine that lets you leave the place with some money in your pocket. It's right across the street from a park that runs along the river so you can walk off your meal afterwards (you're going to need to).
Enjoyed a great dinner with family, everyones' plate from appetizers to dessert was fabulous. Calamaries, fish of the day, salmon or scalopini were all perfectly done and tasty. So were the desserts prepared by the chef's wife.Very amicable and great personnalized service in a beautiful setting.I have and will return over abd over for any excuse to take the family out !
My families favourite Italian restaurant in Montreal. The owner's (Cosmos) passion for food and wine comes across with every bite. The food is freshly prepared from pizza to Osso Buco. We have never been disappointed with any of our choices. We have enjoyed the restaurant on numerous occasions over many years.
