Riva Bar Restaurant

I booked this place mostly based on the existing reviews and photos. This was my first visit here and everything from booking to the meal itself was perfect. I'd read some mixed information about it being dog-friendly, so when I booked through Opentable, I enquired and they replied right away confirming it was dog friendly, and they made sure I got booked onto a dog-friendly table at the front. Even though our table was next to the front door, there's a heavy glass passageway that we were pleasantly surprised to learn blocks any breeze from people opening and closing the door. After reading the reviews for Riva, we decided to book a table and we weren’t disappointed. First of all, the atmosphere was warm and inviting as soon as you entered. The staff, each and every staff member we interacted with were amazing. So friendly, attentive and just made the whole experience amazing. Then the food, what we can only describe as perfection. We had staters, mains and desserts and we couldn’t find fault with any of it. Delicious! We highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. Outstanding all round experience.

Amazing food and service. Liz, who was our waitress, was fantastic. She is such a lovely bubbly person who works so hard. She is an asset to the restaurant. The food was outstanding, and our food was the best we had dining out in a long time.

Fantastic night and wonderful food. All meals arrived together for 15 of us. Such a nice atmosphere and beautifully decorated. Staff all really lovely and very attentive. Will definitely go again, both with work and with family.
