The atmosphere is spacious and comfortable. We ordered little necks and fried calamari to start . The flavor was delicious and the food was fresh. As entries we ordered , Montreal NY Strip Steak, and Lobster Pockets in a penne vodka sauce. All of our dishes were flavorful and the steak perfectly cooked and a good cut of meat. The only flaw was that we wished we had a few extra lobster pockets as the portions didn’t warrant the price and felt more like a tapas. Maybe a lil bread to scoop up the delicious vodka sauce. We ordered the ahi tuna, buffalo cauliflower, baked salmon, and curry fish for the adults. Although the cauliflower was slightly greasy and not particularly noteworthy, the other dishes were delightful. Our kids had mac and cheese, which was fantastic, a bagel pizza that was a bit small but enjoyable, and pasta with meatballs. The service was warm and attentive, and the cocktails were fantastic as well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience for the whole family.
One aspect I appreciate is an itemized bill that itemizes each dish and its corresponding price for accuracy. Unfortunately, Rivertown combines everything into a single total. Who can recall the exact price of their meal? No one! This approach feels like a shortcut that shouldn’t be taken. Customers deserve a detailed bill so that everyone can see how the total is determined. Nevertheless, it's an excellent restaurant that we highly recommend.
This restaurant is quite good overall. I suggest visiting during the spring and summer seasons, as they have outdoor seating that is also welcoming to dogs. The food is enjoyable and consists of standard pub fare, but if you're looking for fine dining, you might want to look elsewhere. The cocktail menu is impressive, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive.

We waited over an hour for our oysters to arrive, and by then, we were really hungry. We asked for some bread to tide us over, but it never arrived, so we had to ask again. When the Blue Point oysters finally made it to our table, they were truly delicious, so I’ll still give five stars for the food.
Wow! The food at Rivertown Taphouse was simply incredible! I can’t wait for next weekend when we’re bringing a few friends along. I hope they enjoy it as much as my fiancé and I did, and I have no doubt they will. Our waiter was fantastic as well—he was incredibly attentive to everything!
We love it here and their taco tuesday rocks! Shrimp tacos, brussel sprouts and irish margarita were all great and delicious. Location is beautiful especially the outdoor seating by the park is great. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
Happy that I finally got to try the food here! Appetizers were amazing, especially the wings! I ordered the pulled chicken special and it was delicious. We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday night. Our waitress was so nice. Cannot wait to come back!

I went for Taco Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the tacos were, especially since this isn’t a Mexican restaurant. The drinks were also really tasty!
