Over the years, Roosevelt's population has significantly increased since the town began accepting waste from the Seattle area and built a landfill. Trains filled with trash keep truck drivers busy hauling containers up the hill to be unloaded. Before the landfill, Roosevelt was just a small stop with a dive bar and a few now-abandoned businesses.

This restaurant/café is located within a small country store. The tables and chairs are made of expanded steel, which aren't very comfortable. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly, and the food was exceptional. However, the service was quite slow. Our waitress apologized for the delay, explaining that there were only two staff members working that day and they were extremely busy. We waited 40 minutes for our food. If you’re in the area and looking for a good meal, this is a solid choice, but be prepared to wait. If the location isn’t convenient for you, you might want to skip this restaurant.
Wow! I was pleasantly surprised to discover the best breakfast I've had in years at this spot. While heading to Stonehenge, I was disappointed by the lack of dining options along the way. I stopped to use the restroom and noticed they offered food, so I decided to give The Trucker a try, and it was amazing! The hash browns were the finest I've ever tasted—so moist! The eggs were fresh from the farm and cooked perfectly. The coffee was excellent too. This place is truly a hidden gem. You should definitely make a stop here!
I was on my way home from visiting family and felt the need for a snack, so I decided to stop here. However, I noticed signs in the front window warning that I’d be “SHOT” if I entered. While I assume it was meant as a joke, I was traveling alone in an unreliable car, and the area felt quite isolated. Honestly, what was that about? It seems like business must be booming for them to not care about making customers feel welcome.

We stopped by on our bike tour and found this place to be a great option for a meal. The burgers were tasty and the prices were quite reasonable. For a brunch experience, the service was good, and I would say the food deserves a solid 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent, earning a 3. Overall, it was a pleasant outing with a price range of $10–20 per person.
