The restaurant experience was disappointing. I ordered the jambalaya, which was large and tasty with plenty of shrimp, chicken, and andouille. My companion ordered a combo plate of ribs, roast beef, French fries, and coleslaw. The fries were mediocre, the ribs were good but not enough, the coleslaw was warm, and the roast beef was inedible - we suspect it was rancid. We were so disgusted that we considered throwing it in the woods for animals to eat, but decided against it.
The service at this restaurant was very good. I would definitely go back there. However, my recent experience with their breakfast menu was disappointing. The biscuits and gravy that I ordered turned out to be more like cookies with chunks of mild Italian sausage on top, which was not what I was expecting for breakfast. I couldn't even finish my meal. This review is meant to warn others about this issue. Overall, I would deduct a star from my rating due to this experience.
My partner and I visited this restaurant three times during our two-day stay in town! The breakfast burrito is absolutely fantastic. The swarms and queen quesadilla in paradise style were also delicious. I usually don't rave about BBQ places, but this one is truly exceptional. I appreciate that they offer more options than just meat and two sides for a satisfying meal. I would definitely return here if I find myself in town again.

Amazing staff and an awesome tavern/diner atmosphere! The mozzarella logs were HUGE and the Pig Pile was delicious. Great selection of local brews!
