Roasties American BBQ

This is unlike all my other reviews where I have spoke highly of places. The food I've had here over say 10 visits was great and what I expected. Maybe a little higher priced but at a rate I can accept. I went as far as to start following them on Facebook as they wold have wing deals and being my favourite item I wanted to be informed.What I felt I witnessed weekly was then a weekly one customer tonight will win there wings for free deal.. Yet there would never be a single photo or call out to who actually won it... A bit sus..Then over time I watched as the new owner took to berating customers frequently when the started to ask questions about the quality of the food and where were the pict...

Worst food I've ever had the misfortune to pay hard earned money for. In a nutshell the meat was stringy, tough and flavourless apart from the gunk like sauce on top which did it no favours. Fries were cold soggy and stale. The owners are incredibly worse than the food obnoxious, arrogant, bogan, mysogonistic to just name a few things that encapsulates them. Don't waste your time or money do yourself a favour and skip this place I'm positive the only good reviews come from the owners themselves nothing else adds up.

Dropped in for lunch today while visiting Wellington Point and was very disappointed. I had cheesy 'fries' and my partner had a chicken burger. Both were well below par and more like Aussie fish and chip shop meals than American. The chips were not fries and had tonnes of chicken salt poured on with a bit of Kraft cheese (wouldn't be surprised if it was just cheese spread) and chunky garlic chives. Seriously, how hard is it to get fries right. Will be sticking to our usual Texan place in East Brisbane.

discover this little slice of heaven in my own neighborhood. The ribs were perfectly smoked and the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sides were also top-notch, especially the mac and cheese. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I will definitely be coming back for more of their amazing BBQ. Can't recommend this place enough! Réservez une table maintenant

I have never seen such an overpriced takeaway. The food is barely worth $1 let alone what they charge! The food is no where near authentic American, it's poor mans Aussie takeaway food at best. Fries were awful, meat was overcooked and tough. Don't part with your cash for this trash.

Philly cheese steak and the cheesy fries are awesome. Can also get root beer which I love and is hard to find normally. Key Lime Pie and Twinkies after the meal was so yummy. Only suggestion would be to stay open a little later at nights :)

Overpriced, no alcohol (and apparently American? Have you been to America?). Average food. Limited seating, hard to find. Limited desert menu. Can't get cheese fries right! Will be going to 5 boroughs stones corner next time.

I had high hopes for Roasties, but unfortunately it fell short of expectations. The restaurant has great potential with a tasty menu, lovely atmosphere, and convenient location. Réservez une table maintenant

Went here for dinner and we weren't disappointed. Food was delicious, good service with very polite staff. We would thoroughly recommend them for a good value meal.

I enjoy writing positive reviews about places I have visited, but unfortunately Roasties is only receiving three stars from me today.
