Rockland Cider Works is a wonderful place! We were here in the fall season with our pup. There is a family friendly farm, pumpkin picking, and plenty of Halloween decorations for the kiddies to have fun with. Just like many others, this brewery is dog friendly. It was our first time having cider, so we decided to go with the flights. It is definitely an acquired taste. Surprisingly, espresso was our favorite flavor. We also tried their original and a few fruity flavors. It was sad to see that the neighbors near by did not support this local farms events. There was a small stage area that could have been used for music or entertainers. Unfortunatlely, when we visited, no performers were allow...

I was drawn in by this cider that reminds me of Bertha by the Grateful Dead. It’s too bad they don’t have the Hard Run on tap. A 9% cider is really not that different from two glasses of wine. Expensive four pack price for this doesn’t exactly encourage my return, but I found the seating along the periphery of the gardens inviting and the Greener Pastures was smooth and refreshing after a 13 mile hike. I wish there was something hoppier as the raspberry and cranberry were just alright in my opinion. I didn’t try the peanut butter because that sounded strange and artificial. Alas, I think I’m just more of a beer person, but I’ll keep trying to find ciders I enjoy.

We had a lovely afternoon at Rockland Cider Works. The outdoor seating is abundant and the place is very welcoming for both kids and dogs. Our puppy received tons of attention from the staff, along with some tasty treats! The cider on tap was outstanding, and there’s a nice selection of local beers as well. You can grab snacks and local cheeses from the nearby farm store to put together your own cheese plate. The bathrooms are portable toilets, but they were quite clean. We enjoyed our time there until closing, and never felt hurried to leave.

Everything was fantastic! We really enjoyed the cider and the ambiance. The only downside was the presence of kids—there were just too many of them, and it seemed like some parents weren't keeping an eye on their little ones. The staff did their best to manage the situation, but maybe we should consider a policy to limit kids in the restaurant! Ha! Réservez une table maintenant

Purchased the Rob Rod’s Snack Time peanut butter cider at the White Pains Pop Up Market. It is delicious! It’s different, and unexpected, and just so good! Just had a nice cold glass with a BLT. Perfection!
