First time, always love supporting small business whenever possible. Bonus if its Black Owned Business. I was so hungry ate before I realized I forgot to take a photo..So you definitely get a healthy portion. Got the fried fish and shrimp platter, comes with fries and bread, lettuce and tomatoes should you want to make a fish sandwich, which was unique and definitely stretches the meal and ensures you get full. The fry was nice and crispy and full of flavor, didn 't need to use my tartar sauce (homemade I believe) I did dip my froes in it though. Make sure to get the local favorite Michelle Obama drink/juice they make themselves, its a MOST delicious blend of several juices. I think it taste...
The food is always good here!! It is definitely worth the visit! You won't be disappointed. Take a look for yourself. This is the first time I went there and I couldn't help myself before taking a picture. Don't let the outside fool you, the people are friendly(owner genuinely cares for his customers)and the food is delicious and well priced. Don't forget to try the cakes, super moist! I live far and I drive down because the food is sooo good.And No place even comes close to where I live. -I'm so sorry for taking so long to respond, by keeping only trained people in the kitchen
I came across a glowing five-star review that exclaimed, "OMG, this is the best!" My wife was craving seafood for lunch, so I decided to check it out based on that recommendation. The food was delicious! The restaurant has a bit of a worn-down appearance and isn’t much to look at from the outside, but don’t let that deter you. Rodney prepared some exceptional seafood for us. If you're a seafood lover, this is definitely the place to visit. The owner, who also cooks, will welcome you like an old friend and make sure you have a great experience.
I was in the area searching for a lunch spot and stumbled upon a small, unassuming restaurant that looked like it had seen better days. It was only open for takeout, and the sign on the door indicated that they only accepted cash. Not exactly the best first impression. I wanted to try either the conch fritters or cracked conch, but they were out of both. So, I went with the shrimp plate instead, which included shrimp, diced red potatoes, and two small pieces of corn smothered in butter. Once was enough for me. Réservez une table maintenant
This place was the bomb! The crab plate was something serious! I read other reviews about it but you have to taste to believe! Everything was seasoned perfectly and the corn n potatoes were awesome! The Obama juice was great and the fish n shrimp also! Don’t judge a book by its cover! Are you almost there? Go!!!
I have been craving Good Fried Shrimp. After wasting $35 at Red Lobster. I decided to try Rodney’s yesterday. The Shrimp was delicious, freshly made. I tasted the Rodney Rodney sauce and that was different and yummy. I enjoyed it so much Went back today. Prices are fair. It’s a hole in the wall. Well worth it.
I got the crab special and it may have been one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Thoughtfully spiced and generous portions. I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in town. Make sure to call in since they make food to order and they sometimes operate out of a different location.
