Roland's Creekside Pub

Our waiter was Rory and he was delightful, kind, helpful, and professional. He made us all feel welcome. When we arrived, I asked Rory where my husband could park as the front lot was full and he was outside circling around. Rory said he doesn't drive, mentioned he was new, but asked Katie, another server, for help. Her response was to park in the underground lot, and she mentioned an abbreviation for a nearby hotel. When I asked for the name of the hotel so I could inform my husband, Katie responded rudely and condescendingly. This local sports bar has a cool atmosphere and is child friendly. Rachel provided excellent service, especially with our son. The chicken wings, cheese burger, salmon burger, and grilled cheese were all fantastic dishes. The pulled pork quesadillas were decent, and the fries were good but not the best we had on our trip. Despite some limited vegetarian options, we were happy with our meals and even returned twice in one week with friends. The kids menu is small, so picky eaters should beware, but the restaurant is very child friendly overall.

Unfortunately Rolands served up the worst fish and chips to my friend and after sending back twice, first time uncooked and second time rubbery they still charged him. The waitress was very rude about it all . This is very disappointing as it happened some years back and had only recently redeemed itself in my view, now we’re at that stage again. The neighbourhood pub is not what it used to be! Remember Hoz’s?

OMG! My husband was having TBO's while eating the most delicious veggie burger we've ever had!Then, this key lime tart took us over the edge. Seriously, it's hand made. We've been here before and we never miss a visit when we're in Whistler. The outside patio was wonderful. Super friendly staff! Réservez une table maintenant

We were greeted and seated promptly on the attractive veranda. The waitress was garrulous and friendly and the food was nice. I had the pub fish and chips and my husband had the Reuben sandwich.

Roland's is more of a neighborhood pub than a tourist destination. The service is excellent and the pub food is delicious without being expensive. I would happily recommend it to others.

I highly recommend Roland's for their delicious poutine, friendly staff, and 11 TVs. It's definitely worth a visit!
