Well well well where do I start.
We went here for dinner tonight after reading the latest reviews and here's my honest review.
As with other reviewers, I used to eat at the old Roma when I was a kid and I've returned for the first time after 25 years after hearing the old family is back in the business.
We used to be part of the furniture at Sandrino's and Benny's but no longer.
Roma is the bomb!!

Vegetarian Pizza - Sensational, big, great crispy base, heaps of topping to the edge - 9
Mains:
Tortellini - Big, beautiful, hot and tasty - 9.
Eggplant Parmigiana - full of flavour - 9
Kids Fish and Chips - Fresh, large and crispy fish - 8
Kids Gnocci - not bad, a little...
I am so happy that the old Roma is back. Went in there the other day with my friend after I heard it was open and the place is looking so good with a magnificent bar that has not one but four beers on tap (Moretti, Peroni, 150 Lashes and Swan Draught).
The creamy garlic prawns entree was delicious and the Garlic bread was to die for. For my main course I went with the Fillet Mignon topped with mushroom sauce, chips and salad. Fillet was cooked perfectly to my liking (Medium) and was delicious. My friend had 1/2 dozen Oysters Kilpatrick and Penne Cacciatora which, like me, he found to be very delicious.
This isn't a fine dinning restaurant but a causal Italian...
Glad to rediscover this friendly family resturant. Has excellent service in a timely manner. The interior has been respected with its heritage with an appealing ambiance.
Menu is varied at a reasonable cost with substantial sizing.
I had the minestrone soup - full of flavour very hearty with lots of veg. Main course was creamy penne chicken. Again excellent . Cannot fault either. Full points.
Lucy & Terry and staff are very welcoming. Parking at the door. Would recommend this venue . An outside garden is being developed to accomodate another 50 patrons fantastic for summer. Near the roundhouse end of High street.
This restaurant has just opened and I've been five times. It's excellent. The food is superb - simple, delicious home-style 'like your Nona made it' fare. We've sampled the mushroom tortellini, lasagne, roast chicken, garlic bread, oysters, schnitzel, fillet mignon - and all are beautiful. And let's not forget the tiramisu. The lasagne is the best I've tasted. Yum. Just yum. The sauces are complex, with the right amount of seasoning and flavour. What's also great is it is family friendly. Some days my husband, two year old son and I go for dinner early at 5pm (toddler time). Highly recommend.

My family used to go to Terry's Amici all the time back in the day! We loved the food and welcoming atmosphere and hospitality.
So we're so happy that Terry and Lucy have opened up again!
It's just like before - delicious food (3 cheese lasagne was so amazing I gobbled it up without even offering a bite to try to anyone else) and great service.
Looking forward to when the beer garden opens up the back.
Based on how packed it was on a Friday night, we're not the only ones who are excited. It's nice to see a family run business staying strong!
The food and service was Devine. The new owners have really taken this up another level. A significant improvement on the previous owner. Thanks for one of the best meals we've had in ages. Will certainly be back again, and again, and again.
Been visiting the Roma every since they re-open and have become an instant regular. Great food, great service and in a perfect location, a must place to stop on Fremantles High Street.
Unfortunately no where close to the standard of the former Roma, despite having the original proprietor's daughter on board. Pub food at best, and certainly not pub food prices...

Very delicious and great staff! Have the crab and prawn special pasta. Very yum! Average about $25 a main. Will definitely go back again to try different menu options.
