Romeo's Sandwiches

In search of a good sandwich in Berlin, Romeo’s was my first stop and gave a shot at the Chicken Melt which was mentioned multiple times in the comments. Sad to say that in my opinion there wasn’t anything that stood out in the sandwich. Chicken was cooked to the right tenderness, however the spices and sauce were missing a kick. Amount of cheese was not sufficient to call it a ‘melt’. However, the bread was extremely good, tasty and had a crusty bite to it. Portions were quite small considering the price point. To be honest, I didn’t really get the hype The focaccia bread and egg salad were pretty average. The vegan ratatouille was better, but still not that impressive. The people and atmosphere were lovely, though. MUST VISIT! Best sandwiches in Berlin and the best interior. I would say the melts are a must have. Their matchas are the best too! Definitely get one. The owners are genuinely nice, passionate and cool people and you can see it reflected in the food and space. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
